Currently the government pays more attention to the development of high technologies in medicine.
Radiation diagnostics and therapy is a medical direction dynamically developing in the whole world. Its new technologies make it possible, for instance, to research and treat oncological diseases with application of isotopes with no radical surgery required.
In Russia such direction still falls behind world growth indicators, but there has been a tendency to reduce such gap demonstrated within recent years.
BEBIG Company was found in July, 2004, in order to bring high-tech and innovation oncological diseases treatment methods in Russian market. Such direction has become a priority for further development of the Company.
Since 2006, the Company management’s main task has been promotion of brachytherapy method in Russia as a high-tech prostate gland cancer treatment method. The method has proven its high efficiency at numerous health institutions of Russia. By now, already 17 health institutions apply brachytherapy as a treatment method throughout Russia.
Based on this, there is an issue of launching a domestic line of iodine-125-based microsources production used for brachytherapy, earlier bought abroad, arisen.

“Therapeutic Radiology. Doctors’ Guide” book edited by A.F. Tsyba, Y.S. Mardynskiy was published.
The book is issued by OOO Meditsinskaya Kniga.
The Guide has detailed description of key directions and new tendencies of development and application of radiological methods in oncology.
The book demonstrates important meaning of beam therapy, as its application combined with surgical methods, chemotherapy, gland therapy, etc., allows implementing of malignant neoplasms treatment method with preservation of organs.
Such publications are becoming more required and urgent.
The book is designed for oncologists, radiologists, surgeons, general practice doctors, postgraduate education faculties’ students, senior students of medical higher education institutions and faculties.
